Motivated to “encourage the lives of people who desire change”, Latonya’s objective is to help people save their own lives. Her core beliefs focus on mentorship, commitment, leadership, integrity, and education.
Latonya received her bachelor's degree in Communication and master's degree in Higher Education from Michigan State University. She is a true advocate of all facets of education and is a motivational speaker, consultant, facilitator and business owner managing multiple entities in education, PR and mentoring to fulfill her entrepreneurial endeavors.
In addition to her roles in entrepreneurship, she is the Founder and Director of a non-profit organization; The Imagine Mentoring Program. She strives to encourage youth, teens and adult learners about the importance of education, increasing their self-esteem and living life to the fullest. Latonya has partnered with universities and schools in and outside the state of Michigan and is known for her messages of hope and serving as a voice for the people in the Detroit community. She is the author of Keep Going – The dream is enough; a book designed to empower the lives of the people she connects with through mentorship. She is very devoted to working to advance knowledge and transform the lives of others.
