My name is Brett Morris, and I am
a process facilitator for collaborative law.
My specialty is working with divorcing couples in a way that
each person feels heard and understood. I create a safe environment
for men and women to openly discuss their interests for each
case. In this way the needs of both parties are validated.
I have been working with people in relationships for over five years. My training, intuition, and honesty makes me an effective process facilitator. I stay neutral while hearing both sides so I can assist couples in coming to a positive outcome for everyone.
In the collaborative divorce process I help parting couples come to a mutual agreement concerning child custody. Many parents find this process is more desirable than allowing the courts to decide how time with their children should be divided. My intention is to protect my clients' children from unnecessary emotional trauma. Also valuable is a strong line of communication I create between the parents built to last as they raise their children. |
| Helping men and women understand and appreciate each other is the most rewarding experience I've had in my years of coaching. I am a husband and a parent. Practicing my collaborative skills at home has improved my marriage and parenting as well as enhanced my facilitation technique

I earned my B.A. in History from the University of Texas in 1992. I've been a finance manager in a global corporation, an actor, an English teacher, a small business owner and a world traveler. Other training includes the Man Woman Course and Basic Collaborative Training in Collaborative Law.
